Rush has recently undergone a major transformation. The new orthopedic building is complete. The new orthopedic center is a 220,000-square-foot building, and is the largest orthopedic medical office building in Illinois.
The Orthopedic Building houses:
- Outpatient clinic space
- Offices for orthopedic staff
- A clinical research center
- Diagnostic imaging
- Gait laboratory
- Orthopedic resident facilities
- Orthopedic Biomechanics Lab
- Implant Recovery Lab
- Hard Tissue Histology Lab
The construction of Rush University Medical Center's new 14-story hospital was completed in January, 2012. The new hospital serves as the focal point of inpatient orthopedic care at Rush. Please see www.transforming.rush.edu for additional information
